OLD WAY VOGUE
Old Way is the first performance style of the vogue ballroom scene. It originated in the 1960's in Harlem (New York) and was originally called Pop, Dip 'n Spin before new styles as New Way and Vogue Fem were developed. In Old Way we focus on precision, style and grace by presenting long lines, powerful postures and attitude troughout the whole body. The style is strongly inspired by hiëroglyphs, posing, martial arts, breaking and popping.
SUZUME 007
Sandra is a dancer with a classical background in ballet and jazz but through time she evolved to a more modern movement style. She is also part of the Belgian/Dutch ballroomscene where she is known to be a vogue old way performer. The different styles she masters inspire eachother and find the right balance in her movement. Mainly she shares her dance as a freelance all around performer, dance teacher and choreographer in Belgium and the Netherlands.
